Gojob Continues Commitment to Making a Positive Impact

March is B Corp Month, and Gojob continues our commitment toward making a positive impact

B Corp Month is coming to an end, but our commitment to use our business as a force for good continues! As a certified B Corp since 2023, Gojob is on a mission to create a positive impact with tech. Here’s what that means for us:

Helping those who have the most difficulties finding employment

Gojob works with priority populations such as Second Chance, ESL and NEETs to help them get back into the workforce.

  • “Second Chance” includes  people who have criminal records for non-violent crimes
  • “English as a Second Language” (ESL) are non-native English speakers
  • “NEETS” are young people Not in Education, Employment or Training

We built an algorithm, called Aglaé Matcher, which takes the bias out of matching candidates with job offers. Aglaé Matcher prioritizes equity and removes discrimination by evaluating candidates on their unique potential only, not on their origin, education or career path. The algorithm also coaches Gojobbers by suggesting other suitable jobs after each mission, and providing training to help workers progress in their careers.

In 2023, we were able to give more Secong Chance and ESL candidates employment, and we achieved our goal of employing over 30% of NEETS.

Using AI to make a positive impact

Gojob is embracing generative AI technologies to improve the collection and processing of huge amounts of data. This has a positive impact on productivity and ROI, both for Gojob and for our clients, and on the Gojobber experience. We use AI to create functionalities that simplify the daily lives of contingent workers, such as:

  • Gojob Assistant, which is a virtual assistant that can be used on a smartphone to answer workers’ questions, 24/7
  • Gojob My Cash to give workers in France quick access to payment and time-savings accounts
  • Gojob Academy, an e-learning testing and onboarding platform which aids in decreasing no-shows to under 1%

The results are positive with 83% of Gojobbers saying they are satisfied with Gojob Assistant’s chat functionality and 86% saying they enjoy training with Gojob Academy.

Walking the talk

Impact is at the heart of what we do, every day and for all Gojob employees. Three key initiatives help move us toward our goal of becoming a driving force behind the global movement for a more inclusive, fair and regenerative economy.

  • Friday phoning: Each Friday at 2pm, the entire Gojob team meets on a call with NEETs to answer any of their questions and ultimately, to offer them jobs.
  • Real-time monitoring: Our ‘Impact Managers’ continuously measure KPIs linked to impact, and share information about individuals who are eligible for assignments, each week with the recruitment teams.
  • Impact is incentivized: All Gojob employees are shareholders and part of their annual package is directly linked to the achievement of non-financial, impact-driven objectives.
