Cookie Management Policy

Gojob is committed to safeguarding your privacy. For further details, please refer to our Privacy Policy. The policy below aims to provide you with all the relevant information about the cookies used by our websites and our app.

What is a cookie?

Cookies are files, often encrypted, which are stored on your browser. They are created for a limited period when a user's browser loads a specific website: the website sends information to the browser, which creates a text file. Each time the user returns to the same website, the browser retrieves this file and sends it to the website server.

The information stored by cookies includes the pages you have visited, the type of browser you use, your IP address and even information you have entered on a website so that you do not have to enter it again.

There may be different types of cookies, depending on their purpose:

  • technical cookies strictly necessary for logging in or enabling identification (to save you having to identify yourself again when you re-use our websites or our app from the same device without being disconnected)
  • cookies offering functions for optimising browsing or the appearance of the website (e.g., changes in text size, personalised pages)
  • statistics or performance cookies for determining the website's performance, producing statistics on volumes of traffic and content use and detecting any malfunctions. The information collected is aggregated so that it is made anonymous: these cookies do not collect information on identified people
  • advertising cookies for showing you offers and information tailored to your interests when you browse the Internet
  • social media cookies for sharing specific content.

Cookies may be session specific, only being stored on your browser during your browsing session, i.e. until you leave the website or the app, and deleted afterwards.

Some of them may also be persistent: they remain on your browser after the session has ended (unless you specifically delete them)
